2500HD Rear window upgrade

I have a 2024 2500hd duramax WT trim. It has a solid rear window with defrost. I need to switch to a sliding rear window to access my pets in my camper shell. What would I need?

I worked on vehicles for decades, and I wouldn't touch that with a 10 foot pole.

 

First place I'd be asking this question is a glass or body shop. Nobody else would be able to help with this. Especially not a dealership.

You might be able to swap in a factory slider, you'd have to work it manually though unless you want to go through a bunch of challenges to get it to work powered. So to work it manually, you may need to remove the power functions so that you can operate it more freely.
