2019 Silverado LD has been nothing but problems

Posting this to see if I’m on my own or if others have had as many maintenance issues with this model. I purchased it brand new, and the list below is all the items that have failed. Just turned 140,000 miles, but I don’t feel, the issues merit the usage.

 

45,000 first starter failed
50,000 water pump failed

88,000 oil pump failed

120,000 second starter failed

135,000 transmission failed

 

i’m better than $10k out of pocket in maintenance on a truck that I purchased in 10/19.

2020 Silverado 1500 with 56k on the odometer.  I haven't had any of these problems.

Doesn't seem all that bad for a 140k mile truck.  The transmission would normally be a surprise but you have the notorious 8-speed right?  

 

Certainly not a model of reliability but also not an exceptionally bad example.

I would have dumped it after the oil pump failure. 

As far as the trans, did it see regular service intervals?

Leave the fluid in there too long is recipe for failure.

2019 is also the 1st model year of the T1s.  I never buy a 1st model year vehicle due to that typically being the year that vehicles are more problematic.

It doesn't seem like that many things should have failed, even at 140,000 miles.  Were the necessary and required service intervals and fluid changes done?

LD is the old generation truck, not the new T1 platform.
