Whining noise

I have a 2021 Chevy trial boss. Suddenly when I start my truck, I hear a whining noise. As I step on the gas, the noise does not go away and gets louder. The whining noise goes away when I'm in an idle position such as stopped at a stop light, traffic jam or etc....Again, only when I step on the gas pedal, the noise gets louder. When I bought the truck with 0 mileage, this noise was not there. Is anyone else having this issue?

Just curious, is the wife in the passenger seat when the noise is noticeable?  I hesitated to ask since you mention the noise went away when stopped, but maybe your driving when on the gas is the issue?

I'm having the same issue as the OP.

 

2021, 3.0 Duramax, 56k miles.
