Does anyone know where the adaptive cruise control parts are located on the 2021 GMC Sierra 1500?  I don't use it often so not sure when it stopped working but this weekend it did not hold the speed correctly at all.  I recently had my front bumper removed and replaced due to an accident and this is the first time I have used it since.  Are there any components in the bumper that may have gotten unplugged and not replaced?

Thanks

No.  Nothing in the bumper for adaptive cruise.

Have you pressed and held the cruise cancel button?  That cycles the cruise from regular to adaptive, vice versa.

If adaptive is enabled, try pulling fuse F18 in the passenger dash fuse box for 15 minutes to reset the windshield front view camera.  If it starts working and quits, or doesn't work, the camera has probably failed.

Thanks for the reply - I'll check on that when I get home.  I have cycled between regular and adaptive cruise several times.  The regular cruise holds the speed as expected.  If I put the adaptive cruise speed limit to 75, for example, the truck speeds up to over 80 and immediately slows down to around 75 and then speeds up and slows down again... constantly.  I haven't replaced the windshield or anything - other that R & R of the front bumper.

Camera's.   If you are driving into the sun when its low in the sky it will fool the camera and ADC will turn off. Happens to me.

I can understand that part for sure, thanks.  The weird thing is that it would speed up past my setting by 5 or 10 mph and then settle back down and then speed up again - never slowing all the way to the set speed.  I unplugged the fuse F18 for a bit and will test again sometime today.
