Thanks for the update.  Mine was just at the dealer today and got an update applied by them.  I haven't had a chance to test it yet though.  Any chance you can post a picture of your about screen in settings?

I finally installed the latest OTA update (thanks, Grendal-fly) and reset the network settings on my Android phone. I tried one 10 minute phone call on Saturday with my Garmin Forerunner 255 paired to my phone. The call seemed to be solid. I still see "Problem Connecting" in the BT status for my GMC connection, but the performance is fine. I will update the thread if I run into the issue as I try more calls.

joining the conversation late, but I just got an auto update last night (June 3) and everything works as expected after applying it. No more crackling or connection drops with smart watches connected (I tried various smart watches in addition to Garmin).

Cheers to all the posters here!  I just got a 2025 Sierra 1500 Elevation, and I am having the same issues.  I also have a Garmin watch.  I was at the dealer today and we looked for an update to the system, but it said it was up to date.  I was going to try disconnecting AA and connecting only via BT.  I'll see what happens when I disconnect the watch.

My 2023 hasn't had a OTA in over a year since they screwed up the truck and I had to take it in for repair with the transfer case control module going out, but I had to go back to the dealer and demand a fix. they claimed the radio was up to date (total Bullshit on that claim) but they ordered a new radio module and installed the latest update for it and it fixed my problems. The only issue I still have is when my radio pairs up to WiFi, the sound cuts out for a second and comes right back, usually a few times while the radio is restarting all it's background services.

I had a new problem caused by the update where the voice assistant through the button on the wheel would not respond other than for android auto where you long press the button. I finally fixed that bug over the weekend by disabling the voice assistant system in the radio settings and then setting it back to google assistant and it's working as normal.

Installed android 16 on my pixel fold yesterday. Following this I no longer had the "problem connecting" status with my BT connection to my GMC Sierra.
