Just got back from the dealer. I asked them to do the flush per the TSB. Instead, looks like they did the same thing I did 80K miles ago... Filter change and refill as they only added 8 quarts.

I'm happy I have a new filter in... Not so happy I still have old fluid in. It was $340 tax and all.

Take it back.  They didn't perform as you requested.  At a minimum they should do a pan drop a second time, but they should have done the 20 quart service per the TSB.  Should have set you back about 600-700.

I know...a bit disappointed about that.

2016 LT 5.3 with about 90k miles and truck is now starting to show symptoms of this issue I believe.  On acceleration, it seems to be hesitating or mis-firing.  Original fluid, so I'm going to try and drop the pan and do a filter and fluid change.

If I wanted to do multiple drain and fills, how long between each one should I do?

In my humble opinion, don't waste your time & efforts to drop the pan. Just suck 4+ quarts out the fill tube & replace with good Dexron VI. Drive for a week or what ever miles u want & repeat. Watch this video on ATF filters. Most people think the filters are like oil filters but they're not.
