Whats up everyone, new here. I have a

2024 silverado turbomax. Bought a few new accessories for the truck one of them being a set of Led Bulbs for the headlights. I noticed there is no high beam bulbs. Also, I'm trying to remove the bulb and cant seem to budge. All the videos ive looked for and nothing comes up to this exact set up. Videos i find are for the heavy duty trucks or a couple years older. I have access from the hood and once u pull back the red tab. I try to turn it clockwise and counter clockwise and nothing. Also it doesnt have any rubber seals to pull back. Any suggestions?

did you look in the owners manual?  that typically describes how to replace the external lights, if they are replaceable.

It doesn't say. It points out to a model that has halogen bulbs. For anymore questions "contact dealer"  it says. i also saw somewhere that some models have a sealed led headlight. But I can't seem to conform this. Im able to remove the connector but the socket won't turn. Unless it not supposed to.

Headlight type is mostly driven by trim level, you didn't mention yours. But from your description and from what I've read in the 2023 OM, it sounds like you have LED's. In the 2023 manual, in the Vehicle Care section, page 358, it does talk about bulb replacement for the base trim level. For Mid and Up level trims it says only "...see your dealer".

Regardless, there's a specific warning in the manual that states "Do not replace incandescent bulbs with aftermarket LED replacement bulbs. This can cause damage to the vehicle electrical system." So even if you did have incandescent bulbs you'd not want to install LED's - at least not while still under warranty.

Sorry. I have a 2024. (Refreshed front) turbomax LT. Doesn't have halogen lights. I can see from the outside that the high beam has a couple LED diodes inside the light.

Time to return those bulbs then and get your $$ back.
