In celebration of the Vernal Equinox today, I've created a new thread. What are you working on? Home/garden, acreage, cars/trucks/campers, boats, tractors, the perennial "honey-do" list, or personal hobbies?

Discuss!

First mow will be in the coming days.  Car events are starting up as it is getting warmer.  Two weekends ago was the first, bit chilly but a good time to get out.

Its also high school baseball season and Middle School Track here so the next 10-12 weeks will be spent driving around to games.  The first being next week in Tennessee.

Last weekend I got the lawn tractor out and removed all the thatch from the lawn including the dead moss from laying down iron granules the week before. Scarified it, aerated, laid down starter and overseeded. This week has been an awesome mix of sun breaks and rain, hoping the new seed will pop this weekend when we should hit over 60 degrees.

Next up, powerwashing the patios and hardscape.

The headliner and new sunvisors are waiting to be installed in the old Camaro. Old one is out after it came home from a show last Saturday. I took it to a cars/coffee event. Great mix of cars, old to new, esoteric to common, and a few exotics. My $5 Camaro parked next to a bunch of $12 cars actually garnered some good attention! I think my other cars are jealous, but, they'll get their turn this season too.

If you stare at it long enough, you might see it grow a little. 😉

Finished the transmission rebuild over a month ago. Just did a stock parts rebuild, new clutches, new steels on some, new wire harness, pump bushing and rear support bushing/washer.

Got the car back home to work on it. Took the front end off to give me all the room I needed.

Bolted engine to the transmission with a new torque converter. Got the engine all installed and bolted the new 4L80e swap crossmember is place. It's not a perfect but 95% is good enough, forgot to take a picture of that.

Then today I started putting it together. Exhaust bolted on, AN fittings for the power steering are in, still need to measure and make lines for those. New power steering pump, water pump and tensioner are on.

Got the resident dust collector out of my shop. Yanked it with my 4 wheeler and slid it into its new home on Go-Jacks pretty much by myself this morning. Wife helped a little once she figured out how to open the door and what pedal is the brake lol. Gave it a wash but that’s about it for the day. Just easier to work on outside too. More room!IMG_4783.thumb.jpeg.d1bc283dd43ca1cb9cd6240ca06b0ffd.jpegIMG_4787.thumb.jpeg.c8193e6993762b20bebf596324e3bf70.jpegIMG_4788.thumb.jpeg.1fa289016ce13a7f97e6e8c1f646315e.jpeg
