Weight limit in bed

Excuse my stupidity, I have a 2016 High Country with 6.5’ bed. I want to pick up 1/2 CD wood which might be 1000-1500lb. Can the truck handle that?

Thanks for the suggestion, but they do not give that information. I see GVWR etc but have no access to a scale to know empty weight.

It sure does. You have to look a little closer. This is mine.

And I just realized you have to do one more step. Both labels are important. The GVWR in mine is 7200lbs. So that would be the weight of the truck fully loaded correctly. Take that weight and subtract the 1602 lbs for mine (combined total of all the added stuff) and I come out to 5598lbs empty. I hope that helps get you pointed in the right direction.

OK, that really helps. My 6.5’ bed HC sticker says 1,359 lbs., didnt see that small print. Subtract me and some stuff, gives me about 1150lbs. So based on Google for hardwood (1500-2000 lbs), I’m making 2 trips for the 1/2 cord. Problem solved, thanks.
