California and Hummer H2's don't mix...

When my brother and dad went to go check into buying his 04 on Saturday, my cousin mentioned they'd already gotten 3 H2's in on trade, and SR Chevy had gotten about 3-4 also. They said they love the vehicles to death, and are gret vehicles if you've got a large family, but they just don't mix in CA...

Every one of them said that they traded it in because of people egging, keying, slamming doors into them in parking lots, etc. The "environmentalist" crowd seems to think they're horrible for the environment, and they're causing all our problems or something...

They said as safe as their cars are, they aren't as safe as they orignally thought. Mind you they're taking 15-20k plunges in trade-in, so you know that they can't be lying about that one...

That's just jacked :lurk::jester:

Thats pretty f'ed up, I would put a camera on all sides of my H2 if I owned one, then go run them over with it after I caught the SOB's...

Soooo...Your telling me that I should go out to California to buy a used Hummer, and get it for 14k less than I could here:D

Cool...I can fly free to California.

Where in CA was this happening? I know up towards the northern parts (near the Oregon border) it is more like that. I'd be surprised to hear about that happening down in LA or the other bigger cities, remember their new governor is the one resposible for bringing the hummers to the civilian market.

Actually, the enviro wackos hate all large SUV's. They just especially hate the H2. We caught a couple of those a-holes messing with my truck. Luckily there was an officer driving by when I was reading them the riot act. :fume:

HAHAHA we have some friends that just moved out there from Chicago and so far like it... I know from living most of like in CA (in both parts) they are almost like two countries. I guess when I lived there I looked at other area like different countries too, (still not used to these bitter cold winters)

Almost! And yea, it's happening in NorCal, Sonoma county be be exact. I know it's happening everywhere else too from what Rob said. These are just people from our area. It's gotta be serious when you're willing to lose 14k on a trade :fume:

Hmmm I'm surprised as when I lived in CA, the greenies were much farther north than Sonoma, more towards Arcata and Yreka. I wonder how they would feel if you trashed their solar panels :D

Was this in NC and in the Cary area? Will have to stay away from there if that is the case.
