The Optional "shock" Alarm

I see an option for the addition of the Shock/Jar alarm. Anyone know if this is an easy install/ PnP? Can you give a location?

If you're talking about the GM accessory one, it's a dealer install, as it has to be integrated into the existing security system with changes to the BCM. I had this installed on my Tahoe.

Anyone know what would be needed ie: part numbers, etc to do this ... I am interested in it too ... would like to get it installed and then take it to the dealer to program if needed.

17800431 for the shock sensor. Programming is neccessary for the shock, tilt, and I think the tailgate sensor.

Thanks ... I would really like to add a tailgate sensor too ... I always worry about leaving my atv in the bed for any long period of time 8)

I had the tailgate alarm sensor installed at the dealer. Works great. The shock sensor is not very sensitive. You have to beat the sh-- out of the truck before it will set it off.
