Engine Hesitates Under Load 1500-2000rpm

Hello, this problem is recent and seems to persist when trying to start in second gear, sometimes first gear as well but almost always between 1500-2000rpm. I have done the regular wires, plugs, cap and rotor, still no good. Any advice would be appreciated.

Try replacing the fuel filter and pcv valve, I did this on mine and worked better but not 100%. The members here helped me w this suggestion. I to have the 5spd

May want to check for things affecting fuel pressure as well, like the fuel filter and pump.
