Ok guys. I am a first time poster but by no way a noob at working on vehicles. I can't decide on which truck I would rather have below. Obviously price plays a big part in this. I am looking at staying around 20,000. My first question is do you think that is a low ball price for an 05-06 Denali?

 

I talked to the owner of the white denali down to 19,800. It has a 6in rancho lift on it. Garage Kept. 60K miles.

 

The black one has lower miles and isn't lifted. It has 48K miles. They want around 23K not sure if I can talk them down.

 

What are your guys' experience with the lift. Do you enjoy driving around or do you wish it was stock hieght. Please let me know your thoughts on each truck.

I do like the black one better but its also 3 K more. I plan on changing out the guage cluster to an 06 escalade cluster and also changing the console center to the escalade console. Magnaflow exhaust and a tune from black bear.

I like white better.... BUT, i wouldn't buy a lifted truck, you never know how it was used.

 

That black Denali was probably taken better care of and it has lower miles... the $3000 you'll save with the white one can easily diminish as you start replacing hubs and steering components (again, just worst case assumptions depending on how it was cared for and driven).

 

Flash $21k cash at the guy with the black one and see if he bites

I agree with everyone else, get the black one!! Anything with a lift kit installed I would steer away from.

24K out the door with TTL is what the guy quoted me today. Anyone think I should bite on this deal or wait for another one that maybe cheaper. Is this a reasonable price for that truck with 48K.
