  1. I have a 2021 Sierra 1500 Elevation 4x4. I am trying to figure out what is the largest I can go with tires without any rubbing. I am planning on installing a level kit as well. I have found similar articles, but I’m having a hard time navigating my exact vehicle. I’d love to throw some 33s on it at least! Any help is appreciated!
  2. Have a 2020 gmc denali 1500 with a 2” leveling kit. Looking to see what tire size I can run without rubbing. Or very minor trimming. Have a 20” rim
  3. Was wondering if it was ok to put a strut spacer on top of a loaded strut. I have 2016 z71 and put a 2inch level load strut on truck. I am looking to maybe go a little higher. Would like to do 3 in front and 1 inch in back. Can I add a 1inch spacer to front? Also should I get an aftermarket control arm if am going to 3 inches?
  4. 2016 Silverado 1500 custom Hopefully they fit. 2 inch leveling kit up front. Pre runner bumper. Rears stock. Got -38 mm wheels coming in. 17x9. Shipped today. should look good. much debated topic I didn’t see anything on the size either. I’ll be that guy. It should fit nicely I’m thinking. It’s a 33.8x12.2r17 ordered today. 11/2
  5. Quite a while ago, I bought a set of factory 18" rims from a midnight edition HD. I was planning to run 35x12.50x18's, but tire prices went up and some tires became hard to find. Finally, I found a good deal at my local tire shop on a set of Sumitomo Encounter AT's in 325/65/18. For those that don’t know, Falken tires are made by Sumitomo Rubber Industries Ltd. The Sumitomo Encounter AT has a lot of similarities to the Falken Wildpeak AT3W, which I ran previously and was very pleased with. The Encounter AT is a fairly aggressive all-terrain, with a 60,000 mile warranty and the 3PMS rating. The tread depth in my size is 20/32, which is about the deepest you’ll find in an all-terrain. The 325/65/18 has an overall diameter of 34.7” and a section width of 13.3”. They look huge compared to my old 285/75/17’s. My suspension is completely stock, except for a 1.5" crank (7-8 turns) on the torsion bars and shock extensions. Much to my surprise (and delight), the 325/65/18’s fit without any additional modifications. They’re really tight, but they clear. They barely rub the frame at full lock, but I'm not worried about that. I’ll probably pull back my fender liners with zip ties, for extra peace of mind. They're very close when hitting a bump while turning. They look like they belong on the truck, and I’m quite happy with them. These trucks have a very blocky/wide body style, and a bigger tire helps fill the wheel wells and improve the overall look. Here's a few pictures...
  6. 305 70 17 2 inch spacers front. ordered -38 mm offset wheels pre runner front bumper trimmed inner fender to metal line just ordered a 3 inch rear block lift with new shocks. should be able to pull it off. May throw on a 1.5 inch body lift. not sure how I feel about the NorCal mod. stay tuned!
  7. Correct me if I’m wrong. I have a 2016 Silverado 1500 they can fit 33x11.5 factory. Negative Offset in a wheel pulls the wheel out from the inside of the wheel well. so if I have say a -24 mm offset wheel I can accommodate a wider tire. I have mixed reviews on largest tire size. I only have the front leveled 2 in. I just ordered a set of 5 pro comp wheels with -38 mm offset. Could pull the wheel out 1.5 inches. im looking for tires. I wanna run a 305 70 r17 34x12 this should fit with no rubbing? I forgot to mention I have a barricade pre runner front bumper with skids. just looking for some reassurance on that tire size before I order. Looking to order on Thursday.
  8. Does anyone own a CC long bed HD that can share photos? Would love to see one leveled. I am debating on ordering a lwb. I’ve had short bed 3/4 Ton trucks and currently a 1 ton srw short bed now. It’s been 8-9 years since I had a long bed, but I recall that it rode better unloaded.
  9. Question for the off road guys on this forum.. I am looking to up my tire size on my leveled 2018 Z71 Silverado. I put the 2” RC level in and took it off-road and it performed much better than I had expected. However I hate the good year durotracs and want to upgrade my tires and get a bigger size, I was thinking 33s. Now I am just wondering if I put 33s on a 20” rim how that will perform off-road. I know some people say you can run 33s without rubbing but I’m assuming that’s only on road use. Would love to hear some recommendations
  10. Looking for suggestions on front coilovers for 2014 SIlverado 4x4, I currently have a 3" motofab level kit installed including aftermarket Motofab UCA (Which I am not happy with and will be swapping out) Nevertheless I would like to maintain the 3" lift but go away from the spacer to a coilover kit without breaking the bank. I have been looking at the following and interested in feedback outside of going to a full blown 4" lift which I'm trying to stay away from but not opposed too either. Also to mention this is my daily driver so more on road than off road use. Bilstein 6112- won't get me to 3" only 2.75 at highest setting (maybe) Eibach Pro-truck Coilovers 1.75-4" $850 which I'm leaning towards due to price but not familiar with the coilovers I know Eiback makes a good spring which is used on several other brands including FOX Zone Coilovers 0-3" around $2K to purchase (Ouch) Icon 1-3" Coilovers about $1720 these are just a few I have researched but open to thoughts and suggestions and looking forward to the feedback, I'd like to stay under a thousand if possible.
  11. Hello, I’ve got a 2008 GMC Sierra SLT with z71 package. I’ve had it stock until this year (2020). Recently put a level it in and had the truck aligned and it ran great. Went to put new tires and rims which are 33x12.5 Toyo open country AT2 extremes on 18x9 fuel assault wheels. The truck obviously had a decrease in power and mpg but recently it has gotten significantly worse. On HWY I can get 18-16 but recently in the city I am getting 11mpg!!! I live in a city with a lot of hills and windy driving so I can attribute that to some of it but it seems low. I’ve looked around and some guys suggest checking air sensors and tune ups, but I am wondering at what point is it a bigger issue? Or is it the reality of a lifted truck with heavy tires? any suggestions are welcome, it has not been 11mpg for long just the last month. Thanks
  12. Hey guys I know there are threads out there for it but I have looked and can't seem to narrow it down. I currently have a 2016 GMC Sierra All Terrain leveled 2.5". I am looking at upgrading to a Zone 4.5" and running bigger tires on my stock 20" All Terrain wheels. The question I have though is about the shocks. I want to upgrade my shocks right now, looking at the bilsteins. But my question is if I bought the bilstein (5100's) would I be able to run those on the 2.5" level and the 4.5" lift? I appreciate any help and information! Pictures or experience with either setup or future setup is helpful as well!
  13. I know there must already be a topic out there floating around about this but I figured I would ask. I am currently running a 2" RC level on a 2016 All-Terrain with the stock 20 "All-Terrain rims and have been looking at tires. I want a little more ground clearance on the truck too. I was hoping to run a 34" but then I am curious as how a leveled will look with a 34" tire. Does anyone have that or is running that? If so can you post a picture. Secondly if it won't fit I was thinking about throwing a 4" LIFT in and running a 34". Does anyone have any experience with that? Or running that setup? Any tips or information is helpful. Thank you in advance!
  14. I have a 2019 Silverado LT RWD. Put on a 2in rough country level kit with 295/60/20 Nitro Terra Grappler G2 on the stock rims. There is no rub at all! All clear pulling in and out of the driveway and at full lock! It was close at discount tire when they did the test fit but it worked. The only issue I have is after my alignment my steering wheel is a little off center to the right. Not bad but annoying on a brand new truck. They realigned it 4 times and came close but no luck getting it exactly centered. I gave up. The truck drives straight though.
  15. Looking for recommendations on a leveling kit (front & rear) or lift (4" or less) compatible with the ARC on the Denali's? If you have installed one, please post brand and lift inches?
  16. 2015 Chevy Silverado 1500 Double Cab LT Z71 Current Upgrades: - Tinted front windows 20% - Shorty radio antenna - Bilstein leveling shocks - Nitto Ridge Grappler 275/70r18 on stock wheels (No rubbing/scrubbing/trimming) Picture before Bilstein leveling shocks and Nitto Ridge Grappler's were installed: Pictures after Bilstein leveling shocks and Nitto Ridge Grappler's were installed:
  17. Its been awhile since I've put up an update post on what I have done to my truck in the past few months. So here is the list.... -RC 2 inch leveling kit -Carven performance exhaust ( Competition muffler ) -Aftermarket taillights ( returning soon as they already have issues ) -future planned taillights are morimoto's -Black bowtie swap front and rear -I may get aftermarket headlights in the future if prices go down. -Custom HD towing mirrors ( The front LED turn signals are sequential ) -20 inch light bar mounted onto a license plate bracket mount -20x10 -25 offset dropstar 655bm -33x12.5 toyo open country RT's -Front end air dam removal with trimming for tires -LED turn signal bulbs All these mods were done myself except for the tow mirrors since i had them done at my Chevy dealer so that i made sure everything worked properly and was warrantied for the wiring harness. Please give me your thoughts and opinions on my build and give me any pointers o what i should do next to the truck. I'm thinking about getting a cold air inductions CAI next.
  18. Got the Fox 2.5's and the Cognito UCA's installed. Wanted to post this since I had a hard time finding good information about it myself. I have the aluminum stock upper and lower control arms so everyone made it seem you could only get so much lift out of those. Not true. I got the Cognito part specifically for the aluminum UCA's. From my understanding, the difference between aluminum and steel UCA's is the length of the bushings and bolts that connect the UCA to the frame. I mounted the ball joints underneath the control arm and have had great results. The shocks I have are the 2.5 Factory series Coil-over IFP. The ride is amazing, it looks great, and I am shopping for the rear shocks now... Definitely the correct way to do a leveling kit, well worth the cost. Fox # 883-02-028 adjustable 0-3" Cognito # UCAK100045
  19. I am looking for a 20x. . . Setup to fit my stock 275/55s then when I wear them out I want to do 285/55s. I do not want to trim anything and do not want to rub at all. Not sure what offset to run. Looking at hostile alphas in either 20x9 or 20x10 . . . Can’t find a consistent answer to this question.
