Ok just got the Corsa put on earlier and I've got a ?...the weep hole is supposed to go on the bottom as it's pictured in the install instructions, but is it supposed to go towards the front or back? might be a dumb question just thought I would ask.

I think it is suppose to go to the back for any moisture that builds up it the muffler/exhaust to exit.

Just installed a Corsa Touring catback on my '08. The muffler is designed to be installed only one way, so you can't get it wrong. The front fitting is female and rear facing is male. The weephole on mine is drilled on the bottom of the front facing side of the muffler. I would also think it should be on the rear but there must be a reason for it... :D

Im' also curious as to your thoughts about the sound of the Touring...It seems much too quiet for me, but I was afraid the Sport would be obnoxiously loud. I guess I'm stuck with it and hoping that it gets a little louder as the muffler breaks in a bit.

Dont count on that. Corsa does not use insulation to deaden sound. So there is nothing to "burn out" and make it louder. That's the nice thing about Corsa, what you buy is what you get from day to the day you sell the truck.

Yeah, that's why I'm not planning on replacing the exhaust on my SD. That's not to say that I won't in the future... but it already sounds about as loud as it did on my 06 YD when I had the Corsa Touring. Which is just the way I like it. The Touring is just a little louder, mostly at WOT, than the stock 6.2l exhaust.

I wish there was someone in my area with the corsa sport. I like the clips I've heard but sound clips dont do anything justice and the corsa isnt cheap. Wheres the best place to order online?

Do some homework...but check out www.streetsideauto.com first. That's where I got mine.

Sir Dan,

i really thought it would have more sound than what it does but it doesnt seem like it will. going by clips that i've heard they are very noticeable but not loud, and my weep hole is facing toward the front also.

I kinda screwed up when i bought this system...it was originally ordered from autoanything.com, but i nvr recieved a tracking number so i cancelled that order and order the same kit else where...low and behold the first wasnt cancelled so i've got 2 kits now.

how does everyone like the sound of the sport muffler? i may send one back and get the sport? any ideas?

You sure Dan? That doesn't sound right all,I'd be calling CORSA up on that and asking them,That weep hole is supposed to go to the back.

yep... as noted in the directions...

Installation Note: Make sure that the small drain or weep hole in the rear of the muffler faces down when muffler is installed.
