originally I had been dealing with them on a used 2010 Tahoe. It was a stripped LT that they wanted 39900 for and were willing to give me 20500 for my truck. I did some research and found that I could get a new one for 38k through USAAs buying service. I already had a guy on the line for 18k for my truck so it would only be an additional 500 for a new new one. To my suprise when I gave the dealer all of this he showed me what he had on the lot and we made the deal. Very painless and I feel I got a great deal.

nevermind...dealer wont honor the deal. The weird part is it wasnt the trade. They said they couldnt do the new car price. I guess big blue gets to keep going. I was going to miss her anyway.

did they give you a copy of the the paper work the other night. The manager may of signed it, saying the deal was good. You could push them on that and get it, had the same problem in the past, but manager signed the paper work, so fussed with that.

We had the same thing happen to us when we were trying to purchase a new vehicle a couple years ago. deal was essentially done, we showed up to take delivery and a different manager on duty would not honor the deal. We walked and will never do buisness with Team Honda or any other dealership affiliated with Team, ever again, period! That's just piss poor business and should not be considered acceptable!

What did they say they would do the deal at?

You know how it goes,

If it sounds too good to be true..............

I don't get it. A deal was made, then they renig? Sounds like BS to me. I'd be furious.

Dude,

That would have been a KILLER deal, they would have lost on both ends (trade and Tahoe). Someone at the dealer caught wind and that's why they didn't honor it.

Never buy from them again and tell everyone you know.

I do not think it would have been a good deal anyway. Tahoes are overpriced by at least $ 10k, especially the fully loaded LTZ models. I saw one recently that stickered for $ 64,000! GM is making a killer profit on these. So when you get $ 10K off, it is like paying the sticker price.
