Opinion On Gmc Logo Color

I'm looking at changing the back and front GMC logo color. I'm just gonna get a sheet of vinyl from autozone (or where ever has some) and cut it it and hopefully that will hold for awhile.

 

Now question is, do I do it like my paint color? Or since I have the tinted windows, black mirrors and door handles (which I'm keeping) and I'll have a black tool box and maybe bed rails should I do the GMC black to flow with that or Grey.

 

I did some rough photoshops to see what it would look like. Tell me what you think.

I did mine also. Looks so much better than stock. My truck is black.

i would think it would be hard to make it the same exact color of the truck... it would bother me if it wasnt..

I painted mine to match the color of the truck...

well that does look really good

i used krylon fusion for mine, but mine is white, it is not exact color match but you cannot tell at all.

But for exact on a silver like that just get the dupli color paint that matches, with a plastic primer and clear coat. you are good to go

I guess I could see if the grey vinyl would be close enough color to the truck for one to help me decide. I'm afraid black would kinda look out of place besides tying in with the tool box, handles, mirrors and tint.

I'd say Body color is the way to go especially with your color.

I believe I would go with black.
