Talked To A Dealer At Quarter Horse Congress

i was in columbus this weekend and talked to a salesman about the new 2011 chevy hds and found out some interesting stuff. apparently 4.10 gears are no longer offered due to the new 6 spd trannys, they got rid of the 16 in rims and only offer 17s, 18s, and 20s, which look so awesome by the way and no matter what size you get its 22in from the ground to the rockers, and they stopped making the topkick/kodiaks all together which makes no sense to me they were good trucks

you can get 4:10s on the gas 6 speed, its a $100 option

You can get 16" rims, it just in the work truck

everything on the 2011 hd's is completely new from the ground up. everything you cant see anyway, the bodies are the same but everything else is new. and they havent built kodiaks for some time i believe. i think theres a silvy 4500/5500 in the works instead.

Congress is huge!! It's a giant Quarter Horse show--something show people shoot for every year. Also big trade show goes on, hotels booked waaay in advance, stuff like that. Never been , 'cause I don't live in the States (and I don't want to take the chance on how much money I'd end up spending on stuff I really don't need) but I've always wanted to go. Something any QH fan would want to see in person . . ..

Like the Morgan World show in Oklahoma? Or one step down from the WEG? Or . . I don't know what else to compare it to.

No offense to your salesman, but they stopped making Topkick/Kodiak more than a year ago (the last one rolled off the assembly line in July 2009) ....
