Adding Driver Info Center To A 2011

I'd like to add the "Driver Info Center" to my 2011 Silverado LT but I noticed that it isn't applicable for an LT model. Anyone have any experience on this. Thanks, Steve.

Yeah thanks, I had read through that info before and I don't find anything mentioning if it really isn't for use on an LT trim model like the product description suggests. I'd likke to get it if it'll suit my 2011 LT.

I have a 2010 Chevy Silverado LT and I just installed one of these. The wiring and connector was already in place. It was a snap to install. It took less that 10 minutes to install and the features this allows you to access are extremely handy. It's an upgrade I would definitely recommend.

I would like to add the DIC to my 2010 Sierra SLE. Where did you get the part

I got my part off of eBay. This is a dealership in Florida. The shipping was very fast. I ordered it on New Year's Eve and it was delivered the following Tuesday I think.

my 2011 LT has the DIC. It came that way from the factory. I saw them on ebay for 90 shipped. I don't know why they say that it's not for the 2011 LT but mine has it so i'm sure it would work fine!

Which trucks do and don't get the DIC from the factory? I'm surprised that an upper level trim like LT/SLE doesn't have it across the board.

I thought the same thing... why is it not for an LT???, but from reading everything on here, I dont think you will have a problem... Maybe it is a typo.. maybe supposed to be not for W/T???? When I get my truck, thats one of the first things I want to get as well... YOu should be OK

I believe it is packaged together with the steering wheel controls. My LT has it. My LT Tahoe also has it.

My 2010 LT did not come from the factory with the DIC, I added it along with steering wheel radio controls/ It will work on your LT.

My SL came with steering wheel controls, and no DIC. I did add it however.
