How Many Is Too Many?

So, how many trucks is too many?

 

I am seriously thinking of buying a pick up to add to what I already have. Right now, I have a 93 GMC K1500 Suburban and a 92 G3500 GMC Rally Van. The Suburban is used for family runs. The Van is used for my business, camping or family trips and hauling gear or youth for my Church's Youth Group.

 

I can easily justify buying a pick up.

Hopefully you inherited a lot of money and paid cash for all that....... 18 years old with 40k+ tied up in a depreciating asset is a bad way to start life.

I have a 2010 Silverado, 2006 Uplander, 79 Camaro w/18000miles,87 FS Jimmy plow truck and a sled.

 

Recently I sold my 88 Chevy 4x4 and my 98 Silverado.

 

For a while it looked like a small car lot.

Thanks for the replies.

 

Of course, I didn't say what my wife has. Right now, our drive way does look like a car lot. My wife has a 09 Subaru Legacy and a 00 small Blazer(She wants to sell) and I also have a 80 F250 that I am in the process of selling. We also have my mother in law's car while she is in Arizona.

 

Luckily the 2 GMC's that I already have are paid for.

That there my friend is very true. The truck and ATV I bought and the SUV was a gift from my parents. I am currently going into university and am dept free. I do plan on selling the truck soon but the question is when. I work full time in the summer at the conservation authority and schooling the rest of the year. I also do not believe in credit cards because I have only heard bad things from them aka know your spending limit.

I have seven runners (or future runners) and three in junker row.

 

I have paid 1900 or less on six of them, and 2325 for one of them.

 

I know, too many, but they are cheaper than one nicer newer one!

It is great to see a young person with their head on straight. If more people were like you then the country wouldnt be in the mess we are in.

 

 

 

If I were you I would re-think your anti-credit stance. The problem is not having a credit card will actually lower your credit score. Later in life you may need credit if you plan on buying a house. I would get a card and make sure the balance is paid off at the end of every month.

      Because single shot injectors are ancient and multi hole injectors provide smoother running engines and sharper throttle response due to the fuel being atomized better..the best lead I have is a 24lb blue top injector almost everything matches up but the injector will put out about 26lb/hr which is just outside the gm threshold.figured id ask here to see if there was an absolute answer

      Why is my question?   Any change in injectors requires a tune. Unless you are going back with the OEM part number or a newer part number of that same injector.   Any size difference or type difference like the EV6 style injectors all have different injector data for them. And there is no EV6 injector that matches the factory 25 lb/hr size that your truck comes with. I've been messing with these trucks and tuning them for a long time and what you trying to do doesn't exactly make sense to me.

      My 6.6 gas lt8 had lifter noise with 28000 miles bought new 2026 and while driven to dealer it threw #1 rod bearing “HD my ass” good luck with yours i hope it don’t turn a rod bearing!

      Thought it was raining this morning when we woke. Nope. Dew point was over 80 F and humidity 98%. Zero visibility distance. Everything was 'sweating'. I've seen rain come out of clouds but never out of Pepper or the tree trunks.    Wicked storms just missed us sliding off to the east but by blocks. Heat index about 110 F with air temp in the 90's.    This is  our third wave this month of multiple days of this type of weather. And yet the grass is going dormant and the ground is cracking this side of the street and water up the the hood opposite. Just weird stuff going on.
