Finally About To Get A Spray In Bed Liner.

I decided to go with a Rhino liner instead of a Line-X because I won't have to drive near as far for the Rhino. I'd have to go out of state for the line-x and since it's not a 15 minute job it would make it even more headache.

I got quoted $400. for a Rhino hardline under the rail. $425 for over the rail. I'm still torn on which way to go. I know over the rail is a lot better protection, but how does it look years down the road? I would appreciate ya'lls input.

Over the rail! Also take that cheesy tailgate cap off and have them spray where it would be. Looks much better IMO.

click here to see pics of mine. I had them spray down to the body line and removed the tailgate cap.

Over the rail is better in protecting your bed rails. Under looks much better and has a cleaner look. I have under and I like it.

Id get under, with a nice rail cap. Looks cleaner. I always look at the over the rail and it seems too "thin" on top and no real shape to it..

Just my .02$

Thanks for all the input. Thinking I may go with over the rail, because it will keep it much better protected and I don't want to have to find and install rail caps. Just hoping I like the look of it.

i would definatley go with over the rail. its not gonna looks weird, you have a dark truck anyway, it wont stick out

Another vote for over the rail. I'm not sure about Rhino's products, but if they have it I'd opt for a UV resistant spray in, especially if you go over the rail. A faded liner might not look too great on the rails a few years down the road. Just something to consider.

Get over the rail, no-brainer, but my advice is make sure you had no scratches near the cab before you drop it off, after they finish you might find they have scratched the paint on the cab at the level of the rails on the truck during the prepping process... Something they shouldn't do, but if they do, you know to look for that and point it out so it gets fixed, I never thought of that until it was too late...
