Consumer Reports Does Not Like Gm & Chrysler

I'm surprised to see some of the GM models on there as far as reliability is concerned but the rest of the scoring categories- safety and value, who knows what criteria they use to judge that? With safety, I think CR takes into account if larger vehicles don't have features to make it more "compatible" with smaller vehicles or pedestrians. And value is another gray one. But I would absolutely agree with all the Chrysler models on that list. Some of their newest offerings show some promise of being much improved but everything on that list is just subpar. I have a brand new Liberty as a rental this week and I can say with absolute confidence that it is #2 on my list of worst new cars I've driven.

The current top "recommended" trucks by Consumer Reports:

1. Avalanche

2. Sierra

3. Silverado

Sierra and Silverado have the same score, but they were smart enough to put the better looking one first :shakehead:

we've been discussing this article on Allpar, and they hate it because Chrysler makes up HALF of the Damn List! but as Mike mentioned, 90% of the list is made up of the Epic Failure known as the Last Generation. but we ALL know CR is a Bunch of BIASED Import Humpers.
