Traded In My 09 Gmc For A 11 Gmc

I bit the bullet yesterday and traded in my 2009 GMC 4X4 Sierra Nevada Edition with 23,00 KM's / 14,292 miles for a 2011 GMC 4X4 Sierra SLE Z71 with 5 KM's / 3 miles.

 

The wife isn't happy but I am.

When I left yesterday I told her I was going to get the oil changed in the truck.......

When she left this morning, all she said was " I'm going shopping"

You are right. The 09 was an SL model, the 11 is an SLE. A few more bells and whisles to play with.

I did notice a big difference when I pulled out to pass someone. The power is there when you need it. The 11 rides and handles pretty much the same as the 09. The 5.3 / 6 speed gets better gas mileage. It is at 15.2L / 100Km and it isn't broke in yet. I could never get any less then 16L / 100 Km with the 4.8 / 4 speed according to the DIC. The 11 has a lot more chrome inside and out. My 09 was pretty plain.
