Most vehicles have engine covers. The cooling fan’s are below the cover. That probably doesn’t help. I cleaned collector car engines. The rest not so much since the last one protested by missing for a few days drying out.
Point of clarification on this graph. It is the life of the FLUID not the Transmission being graphed. Compare to his comments below the graph. Get it to the top of the graph and you can kill one in an afternoon.
I have a 2 gal. garden sprayer with Purple Power in it. I clean the engine bay with a cold engine and a garden hose using the spray setting. Done this for years without issue.
