"DO NOT WASH" Dealership Warning Hangers

We all know the horrors that await your paint job when its in for any kind of service at a dealer or shop.

You can ask the service manager to make sure the porters don't wash your car and screw up all your hard work, but sometimes that message doesn't make it all the way to the right people.

 

These FREE printable hangers can be placed on your rear view mirror, gear shift, or anywhere else to get the attention of any potential washer to make sure they know not to bother with whatever swirl inducing rag and sponge combo they have in mind.

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

 

1. Click your preferred hanger image below
2. Download to your computer (right click, save as)
   
3. Print the hanger on a heavy card stock
   
4. Cut out along the dotted line
   
   • OPTIONAL - print 2 copies and glue back to back for a 2 sided hanger.

Thats awesome. I made a small tag for my truck to put in when it has gone in for service. The service writer thinks I am crazy that I do not want them to run it through their "no touch" washer. No thanks, it goes in clean most of the time. I think the past 4-6 weeks is the longest I have ever not washed a vehicle, weather has been crappy

Great idea, but I'll never have to worry about it the local dealership does not wash there customers cars or trucks after service.

Nice idea but these days you'd probably have to print it in spanish to get the right person to notice it...

Thanks...........I used to just hang pieces of paper I would write on.........Nothing like dropping your truck off looking like glass and going to get it and it's a giant swirl!

I'm confused (sarcastically speaking), the dealerships you guys use throw in carwashes??? I've never gotten a carwash out of any of the dealerships I've had service done.

As often as I don't wash my vehicle I would appreciate anything they throw in.
