I couldn't tell completely from the video, but is it happening on take off? (looked like it on vid) I would think the g80 would be more likely to create a vibration issue in cornering (it didn't appear like you were cornering when it did it) :dunno:

Mine will hop if I slide the back end and it doesn't have enough speed in the corner. It doesn't do it on takeoff though.

i haven't changed the fluid in the 20,000 miles i've owned it. I plan on pulling the cover in the next couple weeks and changing the fluid then.

Also, when i pulled one of the wheels there was a "yukon Gear and Axle" sticker on the left rear hub. i know they make diffs and such, but i have no idea why that sticker is on there or if its been rebuilt with their parts or what not.

i just reread it ,,

almost sounds like the t case chain is jumping the sprockets

maybe im on glue ,and the older trucks may have a different t case than newer ones ,i cant remember

Does it have a two piece driveshaft? The reason I ask this is the vibration acts like a carrier bearing has gone south... :dunno:

IMO dont wait a couple weeks to get in there... or if you must, dont drive the truck in the mean time. You might be hurting it everytime you are taking off like that.

It seems to me something is binding when you are taking off and finally releasing when rolling..
