Why not just go to the store and buy the camera now? Refuse the delivery of the late one and get your refund.

 

 

Price is like $30 more or so this week.

 

 

The point of this rant was more of a why promise a guarantee and then have attitude back when you call them out on it..

 

After all the person on the phone who i could barely understand a word of english with said "well what do you want me to do about it". Thats the point of the rant..

Another screwed up thing is the deal i got was the camera, and the memory card / bag were free. So the tracking # is for camera only for tue. Then the card is arriving wed. and only god knows when the bag is gonna be here..

 

So bestbuy wasted how much $$ shipping everything seperate. even tho it was a all in one deal.

 

So either way i gotta wait for the other stuff to arrive. I'll just print out a picture of the camera and box it up and say "to be continued" lol..

I agree with you 100%. The meaning of xmas is gone and its all about money and gifts. By the time xmax gets here iam tired of hearing about it due to the tv ads starting in September as with the stores putting stuff up. Xmas to me anymore is just another day.

Buy one for in-store pickup, use it for the gift. Then use your ordered one and return it on the in-store ticket later.

Yea i thought about that but it would require going to the stores with the last minute traffic, and then the hassle of going back after christmas when they are swamped again and dealing with people...

it is what it is... As long as bestbuy comes thru with the $20 giftcard for her , it will ease the screw up more.
