Hey, just ask yourself what country the profit from the sale of any good went to; then you'll know if the company that sold that good is American or not.

True to some extent. But not really a good indicator. Production costs, labor, assembly plants, shipping, and revenue for dealerships all generate US dollars and stay in the US to keep working families working. Toyota's overall profit percentage per vehicle is tiny compared to these costs. Sure, some profits go to the "homeland", but it's a much more complicated picture than you present.

If your GM truck is built in Mexico or Canada does that make it more American simply because GM (a worldwide auto producer) gets the profit?

Be honest you joined to create problems and down everything realted to GM. With a name like NoMoreGM4ME why you even here? To do what I just said is why.

Nope, if you like GM, great....more power to you. I sure as he** am not going to try to change your mind. I couldn't care less. I personally will likely never buy another one again....does that bother you?

No it doesnt bother me but what does bother me is you are not going to use this forum to help people as to what there are designed to do, you are just here to bash GM. Move on troll.

Become an admin, then you can ban me. Until then, quit your crying.

If I were an admin, you already would be gone.

Now, down to the "nitty gritty".. You are here for only one reason and that is to bash GM..

Amazing, but you probably do not even have a drivers license. You sit behind a keyboard and spew your garbage.

Well, I guess the constitution gives you that right. BTW, when you are old enough (being physically or Mentally), try standing up for others rights and you will see how silly you really are.... ;)

Seems to me, the only bashing being done here is you bashing me...based mostly on my screen name. You are the one all butthurt based on MY OPINION of GM's products.

You seem surprised that people are upset so let's lay it all out so you might be able to grasp this:

You sign up here with a screen name you knew would cause trouble, all you do is bash GM while only giving the slightest description to the issues your truck has and you haven't bothered to ask for help from anyone on the issues you have. You came here to cause trouble and nothing more. Maybe you should just buy that Ford or Dodge (sorry... I mean Ram, I guess they're just trying to trick people by distancing themselves from Chrysler) so you can go troll their forums when you discover issues on those rigs too.

How can a minivan buying experience stir up so much? I think I like the new dash a little better than our 2005 Sienna. Is it still soft vinyl?

Edit: anyone that questions the utility of a mvan with a family has never had both at once. We go to Christmas two hours away for a day or two, with gifts/food, plus our golden *in her crate at the rear*... and aren't cramped. You would need a Suburban to get more room, but about 60% the mpg and much higher up-front cost. As for other brands, I've owned Toyota and Dodge mvans, and know a bunch with Hondas. No comparison between the Honda/Toyota options and the Dodge... but we prefer the Toyota van. It's taken a beating from the family, that's for sure.

Good idea on the mats. I like the soft dash design in the older cars, but I think they've all moved to the hard plastic. The Tundra dash is actually painted plastic (rather than body-through color).

I spelled out the issues I had with my truck, what more do you want? You whine because of my screen name, then you ask me to go into more detail about the issues I had with my truck? Why would I ask for help about issues with a truck I no longer own? It is someone else's problem now,

May I make a suggestion? If you have such a problem with me because of my screen name, why don't you just ignore me?

I have no idea why it flips the photos upside down when posting from my phone. It also puts a (null) at the bottom. Damn technology

You using Tapatalk Ryan? If so check your signature settings for the null thing. Can't help you with the pics, I have an iPhone as well and it doesn't do that.
