Although they are hard to find there are still some skilled labor factory jobs that pay at least that much.

there probably are, but they probably require 5 plus years of expirience

I am a Stationary Engineer (high pressure steam boiler operator) and I make 240 a day. I did not go to college but I did go to trade school for 5 years, got a licence and have been in the trade for 15 years now. I was recently working for a contractor in the same building I am currently at now. I was making 340 a day as the chief engineer. When the contract expired I was offered to stay on but not as the chief becuase of not having seniority or status.

Start your own business. Or join a union trade school and learn how to build the high pressure steam systems that Ralph above operates. You are in Canada so unions aren't as hated there as they are in the US (that I am aware) so you will have a pretty comfortable life without someone beating you over the head about how you are the anti Christ every five minutes. Much like the comments that will follow this post....

I was in a Union until my job had expired. You do get a handfull of or should I say an earfull of comments sometimes. You just have to ignor ignorance :)

I just have one more class next year and I will be finished my 4 year business management degree but have come to realize siting at a office all day is not that fun and everyone wants accountants anyways not some young punk in management . Most jobs want min of 5 years experiences for any type of job that is in any type of management . In the summer I commercial fish to pay for school . I do Halibut and Prawns and Tuna this has made me debt free. To me a 8 hour day is a really short day . Commercial fishing is about 12- 20 hour days and school is more than a 8 hour day to pull grades. I am looking at the oil field jobs related stuff now and the spin off jobs to figure out whats out there. I know there is jobs that pay a lot but just have to learn about them and find the opportunity. (btw don't really want to get my masters in business)

$200 a day does not seem like alot of money to me looking at around 65 thousand maybe a year .Then time you take taxes off . I can make in the 60s thousand range being a commercial fishermen as a deck hand (would be a horrible life). To me 60 thousand if I wanted a family and some other things in life that is not alot of money to get around with in life.

I am a school teacher and I make about 260 a day before taxes.

what grades , what do you specialize in . Was it hard getting full time , did you have to go to a remote community (dont have a problem with that) to find work . I know alot of my teacher friends have a hard time finding full time work but they just want the best communities . I could always become a teacher... would not take much schooling for me and I have never seen teachers really live it up in life with there wages . I would love to make around 120 thousand a year and just realize 200 a day is not that much money but seems finding a job even making that much is hard lol .
