gas mileage improvers 98 350

Hey folks, I have a few chevy trucks. 2 350's, 1 5.3 and 1 6.0. all 4x4. I realize you don't expect 30 mpg from a 4x4 but 15 to 20 would be nice when not pulling or hauling. I hear about k &n's, cold air intakes, chips, tb spacers, and even hydrogen produceing kits but want to know what works before I spend any money. I am an ex diesel truck mechanic so I understand the "well tuned, tires properly inflated" part of mpgs and I'm a conservative driver. Any ideas? Just trying to keep the rich from getting richer! Thanks P.S. these are all work related trucks and a geo metro just won't work for me if you know what I mean!!

I don't know how much you drive, but I don't really think you will come out ahead by spending $$$ to save at most 1-2 mpg, if even that.

You could try this, lots of room for aero improvement, LOL:
