I got two 10's also. They sound great.

Getting ready to switch my amps out. Boozaka to my Memphis one, I should put my Memphis 12" Mojo in, but I'll have no room if I do that.

A buddy of mine has a gull wing toolbox, was thinking it'd be cool to mount speakers to the underside of the wings, so when we're at the swimmin hole we could just pop open the toolbox, turn on a second amp, and be set. I think it's worth a shot. With his truck of course, I wouldn't get an over the rail box :lol:

Just finished unloading one load of portable fence panels 5 foot tall by 16 foot long had a bundle of 25 on the trailer went about 250 miles round trip to get them. Son's Tahoe took a crap on him so I unloaded his panels and then went to rescue him!! Tahoe is still on trailer will try and get a picture before it gets unloaded.:jester:

Hmmm...nothing too exciting today. Drove the truck to work, errands and back home again. She may get taken to the drive-in tomorrow night though.

Tomorrow I'm hooking up to the horse trailer and taking 3 steers to get ear tagged for this years county fair

My buddy tim tried to help the buggy but got stuck so dustin with his 9" lifted ford f350 gets in there and im standing aside waiting to pull them all out hahaha dustin ended up getting them both out

Oil change , Inspection.

 

Then later on in the day noticed a 4" puddle of oil on the ground that was leaking from the skid plate.. So even after I payed someone to change the oil so i didnt have to get full of it.. I still had to get full of it cleaning off the skid plate and pressure washing the driveway :banghead:

When will I learn just to do it myself and not have to check on other peoples work / cleanup after it... :rant:

I hauled 2 steers and a heifer to get ear tagged for the fair and then took the heifer out of town to be inseminated because she has to be pregnant for the fair to be entered. Ill pick her up in a couple weeks. Ill be changing oil this week. Ordered the test kit from Blackstone late Tuesday night and got it Friday. They are fast.

Ive had 2 tests done by them so far.. my last one i requested another kit and they sent 5, lol.. I'm set for a while now.

My mechanic laughed at me and told me im wasting $ with the analysis but its piece of mind to me.

I know after every analysis i do not have coolant in oil..

I got 2 12's in mine and i everyone says its loud as hell but it sounds kinda quiet to me haha guess my hearing really is that bad...As far as working on my truck im going to try and crank the torsion bars some

      Travel Trailer 2024 2500 HD 6.6 Gas Engine ?

      Although there is a "recommended" weight by those who sell trailers, my experience has been that they are way too aggressive in their information, for me at least. My '22 with 6.6 Gas, has a payload of about 3400 lbs and depending on your specs (I don't have 4WD so it has a bit higher Payload than others) yours will likely be different. Payload is one of the most important numbers for towing. Although you "could" tow the max trailer weight for your truck, I, personally, would not go close to that number. Having said that, a lot depends on how/where you will be towing. I live in the LMD of BC and often tow to Denver, Co, along interstates (flat and mountains) and I find I need to keep it in 5th (6spd) for the trip and travel at around 65mph. This is for a trailer dry weight of just under 3500lbs. If you are only doing local, short trips, it would not be that big an issue if you had a heavier unit. You will be surprised how much stuff you load the trailer with, so I would only recognize the trailers "full" GVWR weight rating, then decide on the appropriate trailer from that number. If you are worrying about how much stuff you should be putting in a trailer, you might have too large a rig from the get-go. Once again, depending on what terrain/distance in which you will be pulling. Marv

      Disconnecting Battery

      davester, Thanks for the response, how ever, I think I am now a bit more confused than I was before I posted - - After I posted, I actually found a YT video of a guy who replaced his Module (above tire) and he only disconnected the ground cable of the battery, but you describe rubbing the two cables together after disconnecting. I presume that is to do as you describe and eliminate any residual energy? - When I picked up the Module (between my posting and reading your response) from the dealer, I specifically asked about any re-programming and he stated it was not necessary as it was simply plug and play. Don't know how knowledgeable he is, though. - The video I watched also showed the Module plug to be difficult to "unlock" and remove, but there was no mention of silicone, although the video did show a bunch of dust/dirt in and around the plug (old truck) during removal. Are you talking about silicone that was applied by the factory, or silicone that you applied prior to plugging in? Thanks again, Marv
