I have somewhere around 130k on my 04. Bought in 4/08 with 46k. But the truck got rained on today. And Ryan since you like to make comments about my messy console, you can have Zane white glove it for you.

Bought my 05 in 03/11 with 55k. Has 130k now. More coming as it goes back and forth to work each day from my new house versus a camp near work. I dread having to retire the old girl someday. I need another 50k mile gmt800 to use lol. I want to put 500000 miles on the 05 but I don't see it making it.

 

As far as doing I am hauling my 04 behind my 03 to get them all to my new shop and house. Shop needs some reno's. Its brand new and mostly finished but needs benches, real lighting, two of the 3 overhead doors made into one big one.... an addition with a taller roof and hoist bay etceru7yhyn.jpg

 

As it sits now. Far two end doors shall become one. Its 60' x 30' and nowhere big enough lol.

Had my truck hooked up to a computer and driven to see what the trans throws up, it's not throwing any codes on that either, I'm almost 100% positive it's a servo. So at some point were going to pull that and if it is bad we will probably replace it with a corvette servo. Until then we added some Lucas transmission anti slip for the hell of it to see what happens.

I bet I'll hit half a million on this truck, but I'm pretty sure I'll have swapped the motor at least once more before that, just cause I want a 6.0L.

 

Nice garage by the way, wish I had a garage and lift I'm stuck out on the driveway haha

Thanks :). The guy that built it did it more for a woodworking shop and it has a divider wall in the middle that I wouldn't have. I could tear it out but the bathroom is built into part of that wall. Its okay though as I want to make one half that has one small door my engine/clean room.

The old 03 had a load as my 04 was heaped with pretty well all the tools from my old shop. So easily with the trailer closing in on 10000 lbs. For just a MIT tube, e fans and my tune it pulled it like a champ.... but yeah you could feel it lol. The 03 is getting this

So tge UPS guy decided to trap me in my house. He put my tire so when I opened the screen it would wedge the tire between the screen and stucco.

4 straps crossed correctly that made it 300 miles without the engine moving. What looks bad is the excess tails I had to get rid of by wrapping around whatever as I had nothing to neatly tie them up with.

      I just brought home a 2020 GMC 1500 Denali.  She has 53K miles on her and I want to change out the fluids over the next few weeks.  I see the diff covers don't have drain plugs.  Any suggestions where I can pick up front and rear diff covers with drain plugs?   Thanks,   Bob

      Well, the dealership got the compressor and installed it. Air at the vents seems nice and cold as it should be. The service manager said the repair has a two year warranty and unlimited mileage. Hopefully I don't have to use it. The dealership i went to was one where I bought my 2014 half ton silverado. In 10 years and 168k miles on the truck anything I needed done and two small recalls they were always very good to me. Not a huge dealer either. I think they treat people well because they want you to come back. I have dealt with a different dealer that was too big to care about an individual. Just my two cents.

      Multigate Connector Difficult to Connect Fully

      Hi All, I operate my 2021 3500 SLT most of the time with the tailgate off and in a crate because I have a slide-in camper. However, at least once a year, I take the camper off and put the tailgate back on. Recently I installed the tailgate, but had a hard time getting the connector bail to swing to the fully latched position. The connector seems to fully seat, and everything works, but the bail doesn’t swing to fully latched position.  It swings almost there but stops and I am afraid to push it any harder.    Does anyone have any advice on cleaning or lubrication or anything else I should be doing?  i know how to properly operate the connector. During the time the tailgate and connector are off, i have a double plastic bag over the truck connector secured with rubber bands to keep it clean, but it still had some dust in it this time when I blew it out with compressed air. I didn’t want to spray it with anything other than air without doing some research. Thanks.

      There are a lot of spammer's that do that, quote something and add some commentary to make it seem legit, but modify the quoted text a bunch making sure when posted it's long enough to be "click to expand", and either immediately insert a spam link, or come back after some time and edit it to add the spam link.

      Hello @jaszr2 Do you have a link for the item? I put a replacement bumper on my truck and consequently had to relocate the shutters. I studied on them a while, and figured if you left a couple key blades, you could get most of the airflow with probably no throwing codes.
