Probably owned 400s or 800s.

That's 90 we had, literally had nothing replace but wear parts (battery, brakes, shocks) as far as we know for the 17~ years it was in our family and sold at 160k or more miles and 24 years old( I believe the numbers are right. May have had 200k.)

It may not have been as safe, or powerful, but it was solid and reliable.

Dropped it off at the dealer.

Check engine light is on after I suffered a full electrical failure on the interstate. Not excited to see the bill.

Out of warranty I guess?

Technically no, but since I have LED lights and have run wires I'm pretty sure they'll pull that card. It was scary to lose all drive systems at 75. Steering barely moved.

My '94 had 266k on it when I sold it. Was on it's second engine (probably blew a hose, or forgot to put oil in it and previous owner melted it down), but the ball joints and U-joints were OEM at 222k. Quiet cab, and got off the line faster than anything on the road. Never gave me grief.

I've already spent more on repairs for my '07, and it's only at 81k .......... yikes!

Put on my new tag sticker. I decided to wait on putting my State Parks Passport on the windshield until I need it, in case my windshield were to be damaged before then.

Power drivers seat won't move in any of the 12 or however many directions.

Fuse is fine, circuit breaker is fine. Every harness plug I can find under the seat is plugged in. Around 10 but didn't count. Worked fine a week ago. Can't be the three (+?) motors died at the same time.

Wiring short around lumbar motors.

How do I know? I can't see the short. But it's a problem I have read about so I push some wires around and now everything works. Someone said the wires run right by the motors/"track" so they will short out once you use them so much)

Yay, another GM design flaw.

So.....

In two weeks the CX9 debut and Ford sale starts.

I'll have some decisions to make depending on how they turn out. If I really like the cx9 I'll try to hold out. Or I'll trade for something cheap with warranty (two year old compact)to hold me over and not give a chance for something else to break in the meantime.

Lol, My Dad wants to buy it. He is looking for something to replace the TB that was wrecked. He has this idea AFTER I tell him what all had been going wrong recently. He was the one that was fighting the stupid suspension replacement with me.

Don't know if I should sell it or have their water tested....

They actually used to build aircraft engines. Allison Gas Turbines. Bought by rolls-Royce 20 yrs ago.
