706,029 - rear tires pulled, still just under 6/32nds left. Replaced with 265/75/16 Bridgestone Duravis R500 14/32nds, full tread. Plan to go switch to 235/80/17s Michelin ATs after it snows.

Control. 235s are just as tall as 265s. Just 1.5 inches narrower. In snow and ice even if the tires spin they stay under truck. Wide size tend to wonder / float. Narrow cut right through.

Yep - most people wouldn't believe a Model T would go through terrain in 2wd that would get any modern 4wd stuck. All due to the super skinny tires.

When they first came out, there were few paved roads - they had to be more of an ATV than a car in those days.

My truck loses power in direct proportion to how much ethanol is in the fuel.

There was a guy on the first gen site that converted his complete system to E85 friendly, and even adjusted everything to work on it to the point he couldn't run regular gas, if so remember correctly. After a while he tore down parts of the system to see how it was going, and three was a green build up starting in the lines, carb, and some other components. He kept running it for the gains, he wasn't seeing issues, but we were wondering how it would turn out long term.
