Drove my father's brand new 2017 ram 1500. Iam 100% convinced now my next truck will be a Ram. That 8 speed shifted so smooth you didn't even know. Also unlike any gm i have driven lately mashing the gas the truck actually throws you back in the seat and goes.

The 6.2 is not the end all be all. I refuse to buy a truck with an engine that requires me buying such a high trim package. I can't get a 6.2 in the truck I would buy.

Until Dodge gets rid of the fairy knob, they use to shift the trans, they won't be on my radar.

Just in case y'all were wondering wheel weights are not good for bed liners lol.

Of course since I washed my truck this morning it rains, and is predicted to rain for the next 5 days. So much for cleaning my interior. Hopefully I can change my fuel filter in the morning before it rains again. 805b7ffbd9292085c149176f04feb980.jpg4883fdae9e12ea2a548e86bb0d10c7c8.jpg

Truck looks great Ryan. Thanks again for the polisher recommendation(I saw yours sitting there). It has worked great the times I've gotten to use it.

Yea it's ridiculous to have to spend so much to get a motor without its nuts cut off.

But it seems to work for GM. They have a large group of fan boys who are convinced otherwise that it's ok. That's fine with me because there are other options.

I ride every other weekend in my brother in laws Ram, nice truck. The dial thing is different as far as the reference I can remember the same thing said about seat belts, we got used to that too.

We have two Rams at work, they suck. They can't handle the weight the Chevy's and Fords can. We can't even use them when we do the big, 4x6 and up, safety valves, they squat to the point of rubbing. The dial shifter is not and never will be a legal requirement like a seat belt, so no need to ever get use to it.

All of this sucks, because I like everything else about the Ram.

What polisher are you using? You have the most perfect paint on a truck I ever saw. Keeping it very protected.

I have a cyclo but didn't use it this time. I used my griots garage 3" polisher. It's small and does a great job. I mainly used an orange pad with the black fire polish. I went a little more aggressive on the hood and used a blue pad to start then went to the orange pad. Finished up polishing all over with carpro essence. Sealed with Adams hydro boost and topped with collinite 845
