A 10 series is much smaller and louder than a 40 which is why I'm thinking t will be A bad idea

I guess I could sawzall them off they won't be turned down they'd be straight out for a few inches I have a flow master 10 on there

Honestly save up and get a good shop to run the pipes right.

I need to get my borla put on already I guess.

 

Loading up the kids and seeing how they like their first big fireworks display.

 

 

Next year my boys will be old enough to light some small fireworks and we will be celebrating the end of the mortgage, our only debt, so Ill probably be loading up the Tahoe next year lol.

Lifted truck = minimal drone. Mine is relatively quiet when cruising.

How was the drone with the level + body lift? I imagine it was still bad like that?

Wasn't bad at all. I do have a 50 series though and at the time it was dumped before the axle. It sounded great actually.

Got a price of 320 for some 315/75/16 mud grapps including mounting and balancing and rotating every 5000 miles at my local tire guy. This sound fair? What kind of prices can every one else get?

    • It wouldn’t have happened if the government hadn’t mandated outrageous fuel mileage standards. It does very little for the consumer. It adds cost. Back during Covid there was a chip shortage. They gave a rebate for your truck if it didn’t have the chip to turn on cylinder deactivation. It was 50$ because at best you may see 1/2 a mile increase per gallon. Splitting hairs each fuel mileage trick wasn’t mandated. The government doesn’t do the engineering work and say use this until it’s already in use and they like it. The fuel mileage was mandated. And those add ons the results. There’s a mandate and they are the results.
    • It was never mandated.  Ever.    Automakers were incentivized to install it by getting CAFE credits to help with their vehicle fleet fuel economy scores.  They were being handed money/CAFE credits to install it.  Which is NOT a mandate.       The current admin removed the incentives that were behind them installing it.
