A Pillar cover removal

2007 GMC SIERRA GMT-900 W/T

 

 

I searched, no answers I need.

 

I know theres the one screw on the driverside pillar.

 

When I tried to remove the passenger side I removed the handle and 2 bolts, cover wiggled but wouldn't come off. Passenger side doesn't matter anymore I got my wire routed that side.

 

But I NEED the driverside off completely no way around it. I need the very front dash cover off on that side and the A Pillar cover blocks me from removing that side. I need to run wires through the very front by the windshield.

 

TO THE POINT

 

I need the driverside A Pillar off, I'll remove the bolt, but is there clips behind the cover holding it? Am I not pulling hard enough on these covers? Im always scared of breaking those things on my personal vehicle!

check with Chevyboy86, he's got a gauge set up on his GMC on the a pillar, he may be able to help.

I put a bully dog pillar in my truck, real easy, pop the bolt out and give it some muscle. I have an 07 LTZ but in theory they should be the same? It's a little tough but like I said, mine was a bolt and a clip.

Thanks I was gonna wait to test on a truck at work. I didn't know if there was a hidden screw. Having pulled my dash apart and doors I'm always careful not to break plastic thanks for confirming this ill pull it tommorow.
