Time for tires

I have a 2007 NBS GMC 2500HD. After our first snowfall (15+inches), it's become clear I need new rubber. I'm running Firestone Transforce tires now. I have about 35000 k on them now. They have been good tires. What are you guys buying? Any feedback would be awesome!

Thanks!

I have Goodyear Duratracs, One doesn't balance out and has a nasty vibration at 45. Other then that they are doing good. Next set will be Mickey Thompsons. Prolly Baha ATZ.

not a fan of goodyears. firestone makes a great tire, transforces are great tires. do you have AT's or HT's?

i went with firestone destination AT's in 285. i wont get as many miles as the transforces but better offroad performance

I had the destination AT's I was unimpressed with wet weather performance. In the oil field mud they were great. As far as snow I drove through a small may storm in Utah. Very light snow.

i havent found a tire that is really good in wet weather on pickups.. its seems like no matter what type of tire they are all really easy to spin in the rain.

My Cooper Discoverer HT plus is excellent in wet weather. Best I have used. It doesnt rain often here, but when it does it is a lot of rain

I did that getting on I-15 in Las Vegas a couple months ago. Curved on ramp, raining hard, gave it a little much on the curved portion and did a 180 on the ramp

I absolutely love my cooper discoverer st maxx... I bought them just over a month ago or so now and love them so much, i am buying a new truck now and am having the dealer swap them to the new truck!

They have awesome grip in wet weather, and are not too loud but have a nice hum. Highly recommended!

I want my next set of tires to be Cooper. What would you guys recommend for a 17" wheel. I am looking for a highway tire.
