Yea I guess I'll just have to live without the light. It's too bright anyway really.

Back in the day I used those long plastic toggle switches that came in different colors. Back then, those things never failed - always worked, and always lit up.

Did a quick Google search - can't even find that style anymore. Funny thing is, in the day, those were considered "cheap junk". If I knew then what I know now, I'd have stockpiled them.

I used this when I had the lights on my 02. Originally made by KC lights bunch of manufacturers I'm sure make em now. I may have one left over with a green LED if you want it Daryl

That's alright you keep what you have. I'll mess with mine some more and if it doesn't light then screw it. It's a pain in the ass trying to drill the plastic for a switch so I'll just live with what I've got now.

The switch I have you only drill a circular hole, I may even have a few extra fill plates if you want them

Do you happen to have two of them?

Wash, waxed, and cleaned the interior of the Cruze today. First time I've waxed it in well over a year. May be the last time too because the paint looks like crap anyway with all the chips so why waste my time. You can actually see a lot of them in the first picture. 38k miles to date.

The Cruze looks good. I would wax it even if it had chips. Helps with future bug removal !

Saw a 2016 Cruz on the road, the rear 3/4 view is disjointed, lines just don't flow well. Front looks good though.

I drove my neighbor's '06 Impala. That car is the reason the government is mandating back-up cameras in the near future. Holy crap what a poorly designed car! Visibility is horrendous. Mirrors are oddly shaped and one step above totally useless. Can't see a damn thing 10' behind you while backing up. You could flatten 6 kids lined up straight behind you, and you'd only barely see the 7th. :nonod:

Children should run in fear of that thing when the reverse lights come on ...

Don't think about giving up on that cruise just yet. Take it to a good body shop and see what they can do to clean things up. You've got a fine car, keep taking care of her. Rock chips and what not are normal expected things to happen. We just want to avoid the rust. Keep waxing her!

I definitely understand it will get rock chips, but the amount of chips on it already is ridiculous. Hell even the headlights have chips in them. My only hope is I smash a deer within the next few years and it completely destroys the front end so I can get a nice new paint job.

The passenger side where the shop repainted the doors to fix a door ding doesn't have one chip that I can find yet. The other side is a mess.

Met a strong black widow today in the garage. Little bastard survived Dupli-Color caliper cleaner, PB, WD-40 rust release, and finally died after some Simple Green powersports degreaser.
