This frenzy is starting to suck. i havent taken my AR or 22 out because i refuse to pay these crazy prices. I see why every one is "prepared". gotta be prepared for the next buying frenzy.

I went to 5 different stores around here yesterday trying to find some 9mm for the Sig P938 that I just bought my wife and everywhere was out. I ended up finding some online at www.cheaperthandirt.com but this is ridiculous.

I was gonna buyba 1911 but see glocks are interchangeable what's the most versatile a glock?

Either a .40 cal or one in 357 Sig. You can swap barrels and shoot the other with factory parts. You can get an aftermarket 9mm barrel too. Factory 9mm guns cannot go up though. Although I don't know how that might work for you since the barrel is a serial numbered part- although the slide, barrel and frame all have serial numbers on a Glock, in the US only the frame is considered a firearm/controlled item so you can swap the rest as you wish. You also have to deal with minimum barrel length so most of the Glocks aside from the fullsize models have goofy extended barrels whereas a true 1911 has a 5" barrel from the factory.

.22 LR is pretty much impossible to find around the buffalo NY area. Imanaged to find some Winchester .22LR superX i believe it was.. Reading mixed reviews about it online, hopefully it runs through my S&W MP AR-15 22

Good luck. A few places have preemptively stopped selling to NY out of caution because of the legislation your wonderful governor pushed through.
