Xbox One...

Kinect is the most pointless thing ever. Came with my brother's Xbox. Couldn't they at least do something cool like sticking some motion sensors in the controller?! "Your body is the controller!" Well it's also ON THE COUCH and it's staying there.

I'm still wondering what the prices on 360's are going to do.

I hate Kinect. Now if I would want to buy the XO I would be paying for it too when I don't even want it. If the rumors are true about having to be connected to the net once every 24hrs that will be a deal breaker for me because my internet isn't very reliable.

How about if you're on vacation or something like that?
Can you still get on there playing a game w/o being on in days or weeks?

They announced a bunch of info on it yesterday. They confirmed that you will HAVE to have internet so the system can check in atleast once every 24hrs. Without internet you can't play your games at all. That's it for me I'm out.

Internet isn't connected when your service is interuppted or any other malfunction that happens modem wise.

Not being able to play if I don't have internet is a huge deal to me. Internet in my area is very unreliable, and an arm and a leg price wise to boot. I might shut it off soon, and just use my phones 4G because it's not worth the money, and I can't switch providers because the one I have is the only one that offers broadband. No point in me buying this new Xbox.

Yeah let's see how well that "have to have an internet connection" goes over for the owners here in Florida when we get hit with another hurricane and are out of power for a few days to a week or more.

Microsoft is essentially digging its own grave with every spec they reveal about the XO, and now Sony is starting to throw dirt back into the hole with Microsoft Still in the hole with all the Information they revealed today at E3 about the PS4.

Still getting a XboxOne....the things everyone is bitching about...really dont concern me. I rarely sell or rent a game, my internet is always on, and from what I saw today - MS has better exclusives that pertain to me. (TitanFall, Ryse, Halo, etc) Plus, getting Battlefield or COD content first is a plus.

Can't wait for Destiny either.
And now everyone has to pay to play online, whether it be PS or Xbox. So there goes that chip...

In game recorder seems neat too.

but that $500 Pricetag and the DRM Bullshit is going to turn a LOT of People off about the XO. I have an Xbox 360 (an Elite that I bought off my sister) and EVERY GAME for that Console I bought USED, since I can't really afford to buy new, and I also have only an XBL Silver Account, Since I can't really afford a Gold Subscription either. and as Daryl mentioned, some people have either Unreliable internet, or No Internet PERIOD. for those people that buy an XO and have Unreliable or Zero Internet, the Xbox One turns into a Very large PAPERWEIGHT. to put it bluntly IMO, the Xbox One is now for Rich Kids or people who have well paying jobs to where they can afford the console, and the DRM Crap.
