The geometry of a spindle style lift, pushes the front hubs out a bit.

Oh okay. I thought I remembered watching a video about the BDS kits and they claimed that it didn't push the front wheels out any.

Must've been another company I saw the video about.

Yes, the point of the picture was to show the difference between the front and rear with a BDS kit. I am now trying to decide if I should put some 1.25" spacers in the rear. I don't really know that much about spacers for the rear of a truck. If anyone has any suggestions or opinions that would be great. Also my wheels are 20x9 with 5.75" backspacing. That's equivelent to +18 to +20.

Thanks for the measurements. I plan on adding spacers to the rear of mine. Not all that familiar myself, but I'll be sure to share any info I come across.

I want as little lift and 35s with 18s with little to no trimming what are my options? Would like to keep the ride as close stock comfort.

Guys need a little help please.

I have a 2014 GMC SLE Z71 crewcab shorty bed that I have already done a 2" level on the front and Firestone airbags on the rear. Here is my dilemma...The front of the truck sits at 38.5" and the rear sits at 40.5" with only 5psi in the airbags. I am thinking about adding a additional 1" lift to the front, but am very concerned about the ball joints wearing prematurely. As well as I am unsure if this is even possible. Please give me some options as the truck is nose diving bad.

Changed out the 35 x 12.50 Pro Comp Xtreme MT2 tires for some 295/65 20 Toyo AT2 Xtremes. They are .5" taller than the pro comps, .5" narrower and 12lbs lighter. Noise and Ride is alot better as well. I also have some chrome center caps coming for the wheels to mix it up a little. If anyone is curious, dropping 12 lbs per tire comes out to 1.5mpg increase.

Think that setup with those new AT2's would work on a leveled truck? Edited by 96bigbody

I've had them. They're pretty good tires. Just have to rotate religiously

Lasure, that is pretty typical. In fact, that is exactly where mine sits with a Ready Lift level and AirLift bags. I think you are stuck going with a 3" level that includes control arms, or a full blown lift that drops the differential too. Unfortunately, you've reached the expensive part.

Gotta hate when that happens ^^

Took it to a recommended body shop and I believe they just painted a thin coat of black then clear coat. It was $135 to do all three lights and they're warranted.
