Good luck with it!

I was going to do 7" but I needed to be able to clear 7 foot entrance (which I do) so I didn't bother to look or ask questions. I assumed it would retain the factory track and all would be well.

Lol I was just doing the research on that. I’m probably not going to be able to park my truck into my garage ?

Haha, exact reason I got the 6”.

My garage is 7 feet tall and I clear it with about 2-3 inches to spare. Work garage is 6’10 and it’s CLOSE! Enough that I was about to need a change of undies when I pulled in the first time.

I did a lot of research before I bought. Lots of help on this forum & watching you tube videos on the custom offsets channel. Even the more expensive BDS kit widen the front track width. Fabtech just came out with there Gen 2 kit which does not widen the track width. I was also limited to certain kits due to the magnaride system on my Denali. I plan on keeping my 20 inch Denali wheels with some 35’s. Project coming along as planned & it fits in the garage!

Rough Country bracket lift does say it will retain the track width I just didn’t care for that ind of lift. Bigger knuckles like the Fabtech & BDS have are bad ass. I have been in the Collision industry for 35 years & know what looks like it will work & what wount. Just my opinion.

I still like the look. I’m running +18 wheels so you can see the effect.

When did you get your kit? I checked it out and if you see it keeps the angles. Didn’t see anything about track width.

I watched a video on you tube from custom off sets. They installed the rc kit and explained how it widen the front track width. I got my Fabtech kit from American trucks. I highly recommend it! I installed myself! So I know it was done right!

So I got bored at work and most garages are 7ft tall. Stock overall height of a Silverado is 73.97 inch’s. Also add a 7 inch lift. 82.97. Stock tires are 265/65 which is about 30 inch’s. I want to upgrade to a 35 inch tire. So overall it’s 87.97 inch. Which is approx 7ft 4inchs. So I don’t know if I did that right lol but looks like I won’t be able to park in the garage. UNLESS I get some bags hahah.

You're probably right.

I don't know if I would have fit with 7" lift and 35's TBH.

You can go with RC 6" just be prepared for 2" wide track. Or spend more and get Fabtech 6" which doesn't push out track.

If I had a do-over; I would have gone with Fabtech.

That’s website has so many videos and I think I watched all of them lol. Idk well see. If it does widen the track with hopefully it’s not to bad. I want to get a -24 offset wheels so it’s going to stick out regardless.
