New Platform Poll

I tried contacting GM today. The person in customer service didn't know platform designation and tried but couldn't find out.

I'm glad you created this poll as it serves as an opportunity to educate forum members who may not be aware of the following:

 

GMT400: '88 - '00

GMT800: '99 - '07

GMT900: '07.5 - '13

K2: '14 - up

 

The NBS/NNBS crap has been annoying for years.

GMT-1000 = 18 votes

K2XX = 17 votes

'14 = 18 votes

Looks like this poll isn't going to resolve anything. ha. Hopefully, one day, GM will.

I was to busy to make it to the ride an drive. My brother drove an impala. The guys doing the ride and drive wouldn't have known what they are calling them. They were "high" up employees

The official official designation is GMT-K2XX

 

 

....but I'm going to keep calling them "K2" for short!
