Should be getting my level kit tomorrow, to be installed this weekend. I went with the 2" fabtech, just want close to level, nothing crazy. I'll post pics when it's done. Hoping to wash the beast too, haven't washed her since I bought her!

TX - how as the the cab noise with the MTs? I ran 35's on my 11' 2500HD and it was louder than I am willing to go on this truck.

They dont stick out at all. If you went with 33x12.5 your tires will be wider than mine.

I'm hoping to go with 275/65R20 on my all-terrain sierra. will they fit without levelling?

most likely not - if TX's rub with a 2.5 -

Not bad at all, I seriously expected them to be a lot louder. The only drawback I see is the drop in mpg, especially in town.

Level kit on, was hotter than Hades on Saturday when we did it. A buddy of mine has a '14 Silverado Double Cab 4x4. We both bought the same kit, both installed them together. Took about 4 hours. Lost an hour b/c the jack we had pretty much was donezo halfway through my install. We were delirious from heat by the time we were done. We also thought about taking measurements of before and after....... Except it wasn't until after that we considered this! Apparently we both were busy Friday night filling up on empty carbs so Saturday morning start made that difficult. Needless to say, no measurements, I haven't bothered to take photos b/c my truck looks like a pile of turd covered in dirt and bird turd, literally. BUT 2" isn't much so most of the people who came by Saturday afternoon to see it didn't notice the difference. I said step into the truck, then you'll notice. And they did. So I told the ladies 2" REALLY does make a difference!

Hi guys I'm new here.Quick question..Does anyone have a leveling kit and run 33 inch tires on the 14 Silverado V8? I was just wondering what kind of MPG to expect. Thanks in advance!

Pretty much everyone who's posted in this thread has has a level with 33s.

MPG depends on how heavy the tires you get. If you get a P-rated 33 probably won't lose much, if you go with a heavy LT mud terrain expect to lose 2-4 mpg or more depending on the size.

what bluewrapper said. with 72lbs tires 12.5" wide running at 75+ I lost about 5mpg but if you run 65mph and below I can still clock over 20mpg. this was taken this morning

but this was going to Colorado at 75-85mph 4000ft sea level at that point uphill into a headwind.

I put in some 3/4" lower spacers to get 1 1/2" lift. 38 1/4" front, 39 1/2" rear fender height. With the 33s it picked up the front a total of 2". I think I'm about where I want to be with it.
