MSRP 50470.

Purchase Price 46050

Incentives - 4750

GM GoodWill Certificate - 5000

$36,300 before trade, TTL

They had to go get it so I am driving a black High Country until it gets here.

What is a goodwill certificate? Did you have a lemon they bought back?

I had an issue with my driver seat that I was able to escalate. Not lemon level but annoyance. When it came time for a new vehicle, 5k was enough incentive to stay with GM

I bought mine Jan 2, 2014, the last day of 6 incentives that totaled $7450.

I have been trying to get a denali for about a month.
What I want is not on any dealer lot so it would have to be ordered. The msrp for the truck the exact way I want it is $58k

The dealer who said they can order it for me said the best they can do is $56,800. I read all the previous posts showing people getting much more off sticker than where I am at. I'm almost to the point of just getting something else or trying again in a few months. I know its an ordered denali but I don't think $2k off msrp is any kind of deal whatsoever.
I expected more than that. The dealer came back with "when the truck arrives there may be some more incentives from GM" but I'm not buying into that since he wants to go to contract before he orders.

pancepance,

The best deals where I live are for the trucks that are on the lots. A few years ago when I was in the market for a new truck, I went to a local Chevy dealer and was given 3 prices: one in stock, one they find and one they order. Price was highest for ordering a truck.

Also don't forget to check the my GM discounts website. If you are a credit union member you can get supplier pricing till September and can stack any other national offer with it like loyalty, trade-in, and cash allowance.

Purchased mine on December 31st. MSRP $47,680 for $37,641 plus TT using a friends GM employee discount that had to be used by Jan. 2. Loaded LTZ 2-wheel. Great ride and price.

That's normally how it works when you special order a vehicle.

I would keep looking. The dealer does not do enough volume to sell that truck to someone else if you do not go through with purchase. So find the highest volume dealer that you can justify traveling to. Maybe post where you are located & someone here can recommend a dealer.
