Hmmm, so it seems that they may be different flaps from Chevy to GMC? My concern was because when I look these up on other sites, they list them together as the same flap.

I don't think you will find any that fit both. Just get the ones for the GMC. I like my factory ones. The older models were probably the same but with the lip they added to the 2014 GMC's its no longer the case. You have to watch some web sites are not always right.

Do you have the GM part number for the GMC flares? I look it up on the GM accesory site and it lists 5 different kinds. THanks!

If they're listed together on other sites I would imagine you're good.

This is what I have. The molded ones with the black grained finish.

Front part #22894860 (the front has no logo)

Rear part #22894866 (the rear one has the GMC logo)

The ones they paint are different part numbers. I got lazy and let the dealer install mine when the truck came in.

I don't really like all that stuff either but when I brought it I had 1/2 mile of gravel road to my house. (Got lucky and they paved it about 3 months later.) And the steps are going to stay. Wife likes them and were not getting any younger.

I has mud guards on my last truck to protect my rocker panels and the areas right behind the wheels. After touching up 20+ rocks chips I got tired of it, mud guards cut it down once I added them.
