So I got a set of Hankook AT-M 305/55/R20s today with about 70 percent tread on em for 200 bucks. My question is with a 2 inch rc leveling kit will they fit and not rub? He said that he will give me my money back if they don't fit but I hate to do that really. They measure at 33.2 overall diameter but i dont know if they will hit being a wider tire? Anybody got anything?

Is your truck 4x4? They seem to sit higher then non 4x4 plus the 2" level you might clear them. My truck is not 4x4 and I got a 3" level and with my 305-55-20 I had a little rub on the back but then again my rims are 20x10 - 24 offset.

It is 4x4. Mine are stock 20 rims. Was it a bad rub or manageable?

It wasn't to bad, but I did have to make a cut on the liner and zip tie it back. Other people here are running 305-55-20 with no rubbing.

Ok, finally got some better pics of the truck. Clayed, polished, and sealed. I cant believe how much crap came off with the clay bar on a new truck. Plasti dipped front and rear bumpers, grille, and emblems. Removed the chrome trim, lower the rear 3", and installed my Thule rack for my kayaks. Im really liking this truck. No other plans for it other than maybe an intake.

Very nice work, looks great.

I've used the plasti dip on badges and other small areas with much success, like lots of other people. I Was looking to black an alum Camlocker toolbox. I remember reading several people saying they thought it wouldn't work. I see lots of bumpers, smooth metal that gets hit frequently by debris. The dip obviously holds up well. I am not rough on the toolbox. Thoughts? Would it work or not?

The more and more I've looked into plasit dip on forums, the more I found a few things. Most people who dip things peel it every 6-8 months. I've seen people leave it for over a year but some say it becomes hard to peel after too long. Anyhow, as long as you clean the metal good, maybe clay bar it or at least use some alcohol and wipe it down really well, you should be fine. A surface free of wax, dirt, debris is a must. Apply 2 light coats and 3-5 medium to heavy coats and you will be fine. It does get chips from rocks after a while but for the most part it holds up really well. The toolbox should be ok as long as you dont throw stuff on top of it and slide it around. Dip doesn't hold up to that kind of abuse. I say go for it, as long as the metal is clean it should adhere fine.
