So what separates the elevation edition from others? I mean I realize it sits higher but how do they achieve it? Spacers? shocks? Body lift?

I haven't read anything to indicate that they have a lift from factory.

Wonder why they call it elevation edition? I was assuming it came leveled or lifted.

2015 SLT in Diamond White with 5.3L v8. Stock tires and rims 20".

3" leveling kit. Rough country kit $72.00 shipped. Actually raised the front of the truck 2 3/4 inches. front is 36 3/4 before, back is 39 1/4 before

and after front is 38 1/2, back stays same.

Borla cat back exhaust, bought at Jeg's and installed by midas muffler. Borla kit was $990 shipped.

Retrax pro rolling bed cover $1,800 I like the cover a lot but it takes up 14" of the front of the bed so you lose a lot of space in the bed

2" rough country, 1.5" zone. 295/70r18 trail grapplers with method mesh +18 offset. They stick out about 1/4" to 1/2" past the fender.

They rub the fender liner at full lock in forward and reverse.

truck looks good I really want to put 35s on mine. I have the 2.5 not the 2 tho. What is your offset.

Pretty much. Its just a gussied up base truck without having to go on up to SLE trim. Like the Silverado CST. Plus G80.

I wondered tbat myself but meh.

Joke is on everyone else though, this truck has the driver's assist handle.

Lol man that bothers me. What in the hell kind of name is that if the height of the truck hasn't been adjusted at all. They might as well have called it the "leveled edition" I'd be just as dumbfounded.

Changed up the look of my truck...No more color matched front

I'm not a huge fan of the new Chevy grille/headlight set up but I do like that. Looks like LineX? What did you do with your tow mirrors? My silver Sierra is coming with power fold tow mirrors and I want to ditch the chrome. Did you paint yours to match? I was going to black mine out with vinyl but I would like to see more pics of yours.

Couple questions for you - first, how much did Midas charge for the exhaust install? I couldn't find the Borla cat back on Jegs - do you know the part number. Finally, how do you like the Retrax (other than the bed space issue)? Is it water tight?

Your truck looks great!

Midas charged $150 for exhaust install.

jets part number is 157-140536.

cover works great and is water tight so far

Truck looks amazing! would you be willing to take some photos down the side to see how much the wheels stick out? Also did you put spacers in the rear?

    • Atlas,   Then following your logic we can't believe any story that the MSM produces? I mean it's documented they heavily donate to Democrat candidates. Vote Democrat in high percentages. Many MSM talents are married to Democrat politicians, Gov. employees. That goes for on-air and off, personalities and reporters. So they would all be biased and nothing they produce is to be believed in your mind?   Again the article simply was about ways AI can be used for pricing products. Nothing discounted current situations as a factor.    Again keep looking through your left/right lenses. I don't live my life that way.   And as a heads up this thread will be cleaned up again as much of this is off topic and is receiving
    • Yes, and only a couple years before delivery. 🙄
    • So you're saying toss the baby out with the bathwater? @txab posted article was her take on how AI can be used to manipulate pricing as it already does and has been rebuked by the judiciasry in housing. How AI can be and is used to maximize refinery or even Amazon operations all of which are true but because she is who she is; that makes what she says about what is true, false? Is that something akin to Pre-justice aka prejudice?    Look, I'm first in line to approach all information with caution just because we live in a world where people like to lie about someone or something with such a straight face and in such volume that it makes digging to the truth wearisome. Meaning I understand the skepticisms but if I were to toss out everything a person is for a view they hold then my pool of people to draw wisdom from would be non-existent and I'd be forced to reinvent the wheel daily. Not practical.    "Be innocent as a dove but as cautious as a serpent."    Test each word. Every good lie is part truth or no one would believe it. Find the truth in it and reject what isn't.    On this one, AI is being used to do what has been done by hand for hundreds of years already but at such speed, the point of a computer, that it is more easily monetized. This one wasn't that hard a lift.    I wrote a few formulas in a Lotus 123 program decades ago, a series of linked Macros actually, that allowed a daily inventory to be turned into a running P&L and production plan. Something that took three departments a week to assemble now took the time it takes to input the 'daily changes' in inventory. Later that was ungraded to the more powerful Excel program an and integrated with bar code scanning, inventory to supply was done once per shift. It had a huge impact on production scheduling, Seamless interruption flexibility, inventory error reduction, raw materials cost effective utilization and scrap reduction. Huge improvement in the bottom line. I spent months on that and AI could have done it in minutes. So yes, it not only can be used, they would be foolish to not try. The legality, ethics and morality are not the domain of AI. Humans need to keep a reign on it.
    • New to this forum.  Also looking to tune a 6L80 and trying to work out all the issues in my transmission swap.  I have a 6.2 diesel (1983) and have removed the TH-400 and about to put in a 6L80 with a TCM-2600 interface and don't have a clue what I doing after that.  Did you (Leatherneck/RAV3) get your slip resolved? I too hate to spend that kind of money on a tuner that hopefully I will not need too many times although from what steelerdude15 added about the HP Tuner being great for diagnostics would be a plus.  I am also from WNC but below you in Columbus.  Any helo would be greatly appreciated.
