Key Fob Question

I came to the 2014 from a keyless start/entry vehicle.

 

The clicking of the fob hitting the shift and steering columns is very annoying.

 

Does someone make a silicon key fob cover that might help - I searched and did not find one

 

OR

 

Can the key fob electronics be "moved" to a key fob with the pop-out key so it would not rotate on a ring and hit the column/shift lever?

You could just take the key fob off the starter key. or use a quick disconnect key ring. but then you run the risk of forgetting the fob in the truck.

I use a piece of velcro on the column. The fuzzy piece works great.

simple indoor / outdoor patio type carpet... to match. double sided tape ( the good red 3m stuff) on the back.

 

Also.. if you have other keys on your key ring with the fob... put the little rubber things around those keys.
